What counts as a conversation?
A conversation is a single user session. A visitor can send multiple messages in the same conversation without consuming additional credit.
Can I change plans?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. The change takes effect immediately and prorated billing is calculated automatically.
How does billing work?
Monthly billing by credit card via Polar. You can cancel any time, no commitment.
What happens if I exceed my limit?
You receive an email at 80% and 100% of your quota. Once the limit is reached, new conversations are blocked until renewal or upgrade.
Do I pay more when my agent succeeds?
No. The price is flat whatever the outcome: we bill neither per token, nor per conversation, nor per user — invite your whole team, the bill stays the same. The allocation of 20 conversations a day per bot is an anti-abuse guardrail, not a meter: if you regularly exceed it you add a bot for €15, you never discover a surprise invoice at the end of the month.
What exactly is a bot?
A bot is one site or one brand, with its own persona, corpus and tools. Each bot carries 20 conversations a day, pooled across your fleet — a quiet bot covers a busy one. Builder includes 2, Agency 10; beyond that it is €15 per bot per month, added or removed pro rata.
Why pay Animam if I bring my own LLM key?
Because you are not buying tokens. Inference is a commodity: you get it at cost from any provider. What is hard is everything that turns a model into an agent that DOES things on your site — the widget and its integration, actions that actually execute (lead, meeting, quote, payment), the connectors, the knowledge base, the multi-bot fleet you drive from your own Claude, the stats, GDPR consent, the anti-abuse guardrails. The proof of that positioning is BYOK itself: not only do we not lock you into our inference, we reward you for bringing your own key — 3× your conversation allocation, at the same price. If our value were the margin on tokens, we would forbid it.
I ship the same tool to every client — must I recreate it each time?
No, from Agency up. You define a tool ONCE on your parent account and propagate it to every client bot. Propagation returns a report, never a bare success: created, updated, and above all the ones skipped with the reason. If a client's copy was edited locally it DETACHES — it stops following your template instead of being overwritten, and you see it in the list, free to re-sync it. When your backend needs to know which client is calling, {{tenant.slug}} is resolved per child at propagation. All of it is drivable from your own agent over MCP (list_fleet_tools, create_fleet_tool, propagate_fleet_tool).
Can the agent act inside MY system?
Yes, from Builder up. You declare a URL and a contract; when the conversation calls for it, Animam posts to YOUR endpoint with the visitor's verified email and only the parameters you declared. None of your code runs on our side — we get an address, not a program. The URL is validated before every call (DNS resolution included, private networks refused), your secret is encrypted at rest, and the response is filtered before it reaches the model. It is configured through the API: it is the one tool type your personal agent (Claude, Hermes) may not create over MCP, because it carries a secret — your site agent is the one that uses it. There is no dedicated dashboard screen either.
Can my agent handle this for me?
