FAQ
I run a small business — do I need the admin assistant?
No. The Visitors plan at €19/month covers what you need: a chat widget that answers questions and routes visitor actions through your existing forms, store and newsletter. The admin assistant is built for people who spend time inside wp-admin — freelancers, agencies, content teams. If you only open wp-admin to add an article every quarter, skip it.
I am a WordPress freelancer — can I resell this to my clients?
For now, the Bundle plan at €39/month works on your own sites and you can install a separate tenant for each client. A dedicated Agency plan (multi-tenant dashboard, white-label widget, recurring partner revenue) is on the roadmap but not yet available — there is nothing to sign up for today beyond the three live plans.
I run a content / SEO agency — can I bulk-audit schema across many sites?
The Admin plan already covers schema audits, bulk alt text and bulk meta on a single site. A dedicated SEO Pro plan for unlimited-page bulk operations without the visitor widget is on the roadmap, but not yet available — start with Admin or Bundle today.
I am on WooCommerce — does the agent know about my products?
Yes. Content sync includes products with their stock, price, and variants. The widget can recommend products, look up orders, and check stock via the WooCommerce bridge. ROI tracking with affiliate-style click attribution is included.
I have a multilingual site (Polylang / WPML) — does the widget answer in the right language?
The widget detects browser locale and your tenant configuration. Per-locale schema tools and locale-aware bridges ship in v0.2 — for now configure one tenant per active language to get full per-locale parity. We are happy to walk you through the setup.
How is animam.ai different from wordpress.animam.ai?
animam.ai is the platform: API, dashboard, billing, all websites and verticals. wordpress.animam.ai is the marketing site for the WordPress plugin specifically — and it runs on WordPress itself (we dogfood the product). Same backend, two front doors.
Is the WordPress plugin free?
The plugin code is MIT-licensed and free to install, and there is now a Free WordPress plan as well: bring your own AI provider key (OpenAI, Claude, DeepSeek, and more) and the agent answers visitors from your content and points them to your contact page — 1,000 conversations per month, no card. The Free plan does not include the native plugin bridges (forms, store, newsletter); those start at €19/month with Visitors, which is where the agent actually acts on your site instead of only answering. (Note: the separate platform Free tier on animam.ai is for API testing and does not serve a production WordPress widget — the WordPress Free plan is the one you want here.)
How long does install take?
Five minutes. Upload the plugin, enter your tenant slug + API key, click Test connection, click Resync all, toggle the widget on. Done.
Is the plugin in the official WordPress.org directory?
Not yet. We self-host releases and ship updates via the standard WordPress update flow (Plugin Update Checker). Submission to the wordpress.org directory is on the roadmap once the API stabilizes at 1.0.
